Juyeon Lee
20-year-old violinist Juyeon Lee from South Korea is in her first year of undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School in New York, where she is under the tutelage of Li Lin. She started the violin at the age of five, and her immense passion and talent in music led her to attend The Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School in the studio of Sunny Lee. Throughout her career, she gained recognition, receiving prizes in numerous competitions such as The Ewa&Kyunghyang Concour, Chunchu Concour, Korea Herald Concour, and Segye Times Concour, and performing in The Seoul Yego Young Artist Concert and The Young Musician Festival. Juyeon’s dedication to excellence extends beyond her musical pursuits, as she has been acknowledged as an outstanding student in both musical and academic studies at her school. Juyeon has also received various scholarships including the Lee Dae Woong Scholarship and School’s merit scholarship every semester during her high school years. Furthermore, Juyeon has been privileged to participate in masterclasses led by distinguished artists such as Peter Schuhmayer, Pavel Vernikov, Namyoon Kim, Chiyoko Noguchi, Kazuki Sawa, Min Kim, and Sungsik Yang.
