Amir Sharipov

Amir, a second-generation musician in his family, chose the French Horn for a career in professional orchestras. Performing repertoire from Mozart to Messiaen, Amir has made orchestral appearances at prestigious international venues such as Boston Symphony Hall, Vienna Musikverein Golden Hall, Esplanade Concert Hall, and Hong Kong City Hall. In 2019, he was appointed as associate principal horn in the Irkutsk Philharmonic Orchestra and served there for three concert seasons. Subsequently, he earned a full scholarship for graduate studies, completing one academic year at Boston University (2022 to 2023) before pursuing his master’s degree in orchestral studies at Tianjin Juilliard School (2023 to the present moment).
